Cologne, Germany – March 29, 2025 — Digital dental solution provider Osbis, led by CEO Wonjun Lee, garnered significant attention at IDS 2025, the world’s largest dental trade fair held in Cologne, Germany from March 25 to 29. The company showcased its groundbreaking OCT-based intraoral scanner “OCTiX” and unveiled the complete digital dentistry lineup under its Lilivis brand.

Making its global debut, the OCTiX intraoral scanner—developed independently by Huvis—drew particular interest. Leveraging Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology, OCTiX uses harmless infrared light instead of X-rays to provide ultra-high resolution imaging below 60μm. This enables clinicians to visualize microstructures of teeth and soft tissues with exceptional clarity.

The scanner is designed to capture precise subgingival margins for prosthetic fabrication, obtain detailed pre-treatment data for veneer procedures, and detect early-stage caries and periodontal diseases, allowing for more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Throughout the exhibition, attendees experienced live demonstrations of OCTiX’s capabilities, sparking strong interest from both domestic and international distributors, including key buyers from Europe and the Middle East.

In addition to product showcases, Osbis hosted a series of educational sessions focused on the clinical application of its digital solutions. Topics included the clinical validity of intraoral OCT scanning and digital workflows for immediate implant placement. Presentations were led by prominent clinical partners such as Dr. Pilseong Kim, Adjunct Professor of Periodontology at UCLA School of Dentistry, and Dr. Jiman Park, Professor of Prosthodontics at Seoul National University.

Following the lectures, attendees actively engaged in technical Q&A sessions and consultations on implementing digital workflows, with interactive events and giveaways further boosting audience engagement. Many praised Lilivis as a “realistic and complete digital dental solution.”

Osbis also held real-time demos highlighting high-precision prosthodontic procedures such as veneers, featuring its full digital workflow from Lilivis SCAN to L-CAD/CAM and Lilivis MILL. The seamless integration of scanning, design, and milling was showcased to demonstrate the system’s clinical efficiency and reliability.

Notably, the Lilivis MILL, launched last year, received particular interest for its Dual Craft feature, enabling the production of two veneers or inlays from a single block—reducing material costs by approximately 50%.

Building on the success of IDS 2025, Osbis is now in advanced discussions with potential partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia for distribution and localization. “OCTiX introduces a new level of diagnostic precision, while Lilivis addresses real clinical demands with accuracy, efficiency, and workflow continuity,” said an Osbis spokesperson. “We are confident that our technology and clinically driven content will further strengthen our position in the global digital dentistry market.”
